Enjoying a stunning sunset in Cannon Beach with Jony and his family. They are expecting a new edition to their family, a baby girl Joyee. Jony contacted me to capture this very special time for their family. Having already photographed together it was awesome to be there to preserve these memories of the baby on the way. Mom was glowing under the sunset lighting and the excitement of expecting a new baby.
We started our session about 1 hour before sunset to capture the golden hour in Cannon Beach. Photographing at my favorite beach with rolling sand dunes and views of sea stacks and the ocean. The perfect setting to photograph family photos. Starting with photos in the dunes overlooking the ocean and rocks we played some games to keep the little boy, Ishaan engaged. Then photos of just mom and her baby bump with Haystack Rock in the background.
During our session we ventured down to the waters edge and kept with natural posing and candid moments to bring genuine smiles and happiness. I love capturing a variety of candid, naturally posed and lifestyle type images. The beach makes for a perfect setting to enjoy yourself and capture real photos. Pictures that celebrate the beauty of a new baby on the way. It’s fun to get creative with the sibling and baby bump to photograph some really cute and special moments.
Working with Jony and his family is wonderful. I helped photograph his ocean front vacation rental property in Lincoln City. We created a video along with photos to showcase the beauty of the Oregon Coast and relaxed/ fun nature of Lincoln City. On this session they traveled up to Cannon Beach and we met for a spectacular sunset photo session on the sand.
When Joyee was born Jony emailed me a photo of her, which was really special to see. Having 4 kiddos ourselves and introuducing a little girl, Violet to our famiy just a week ago. We are all very excited and full of love. Family is the most important thing in life.
