Katie & Coby’s Wedding at The Red Building | Oregon Coast

Photographing Katie & Coby’s wedding at The Red Building was a truly meaningful experience. Their day felt calm, personal, and focused on what mattered most—being present with each other and celebrating with the people they love.

The morning started with Katie getting ready alongside her close friends & family. There was an easy, comfortable energy in the room, filled with laughter and quiet moments of anticipation. Katie moved through the morning with a sense of calm, taking everything in as it happened. Coby spent his morning nearby, clearly excited and ready for the day ahead. In anticipation before the ceremony the couple photographed individually and with their families. This can help to capture some of the important photos so there is less to photograph after the ceremony.

The ceremony at The Red Building was intimate and emotional. Katie & Coby exchanged personal vows that reflected their relationship and brought both laughter and tears from their guests. The setting felt relaxed and welcoming, allowing everyone to feel connected to the moment rather than just observing it.

After the ceremony, we spent time capturing portraits around the venue with views of the Astoria Bridge. Katie & Coby were comfortable and natural together, which made photographing them feel effortless. They trusted the process and focused on each other, resulting in images that truly reflect who they are and how they connect.

The reception carried that same energy into the evening. Thoughtful toasts, warm hugs, and a lively dance floor filled the space as the celebration continued. It was the kind of wedding day that felt genuine from beginning to end—unforced, joyful, and full of meaningful moments.

Katie & Coby, thank you for inviting me into your day and trusting me to document your wedding at The Red Building. It was an honor to capture such a heartfelt celebration and preserve these memories for you.
