natural photography capturing beautiful lighting to remain timeless

Absolutely. In fact, most people proposing have never done this before, and thankfully, it's not something you need to practice repeatedly. We help with location suggestions, timing, logistics, and creating a plan so you can focus on one important question.
-
Carefully... and with a little teamwork. Before the day, we'll discuss a plan, meeting location, and subtle cues so everything feels natural. The goal is for your partner to enjoy the experience without suspecting what's about to happen.
-
That depends on your vision. Some couples love iconic locations like Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock. Others prefer quieter beaches, scenic viewpoints, or hidden coastal locations. We can recommend spots based on privacy, scenery, accessibility, and timing.
-
Most people assume we're photographing the scenery, wildlife, or a completely different couple. The Oregon Coast attracts photographers year-round, so seeing someone with a camera rarely raises suspicion.
-
Some of the best photographs happen immediately afterward. Once the surprise settles in and the excitement takes over, we usually continue with a relaxed portrait session to celebrate the moment while emotions are still fresh.
-
Weather changes quickly on the Oregon Coast. Some of the most beautiful proposal photographs happen under dramatic skies. We monitor conditions closely and can often adjust timing if needed.
-
The sooner the better, especially during spring and summer. Planning ahead gives us more flexibility when selecting locations and creating the perfect proposal strategy.
-
That depends on your plan. Some proposals work best as a complete surprise. Others are disguised as a casual couples session. We'll help determine which approach fits your personalities and comfort levels.
-
Absolutely. Some couples love having family hidden nearby to celebrate afterward, while others prefer a private moment. There is no right answer, only what feels right for you.
-
You will be. Almost everyone is. The good news is that being nervous usually means you care deeply about the moment. Once you're standing there with the person you love, everything else tends to fade into the background.
