As an expectant mother with so much excitement and anticipation of seeing your newborn, you also want to capture this precious time for memories to be cherished for generations. Maternity photography is truly a wonderful experience. The stunning glow and contagious smile of a pregnant woman are second to none, which I specialize in capturing beautifully!
Preparing for your session | Outfits and accessories
To make the most of your Oregon Coast maternity photography session, it’s important to plan ahead and choose outfits and accessories before the shoot. Consider comfortable clothing that accentuates your bump such as dresses that have an empire waistline or a casual top paired with some leggings. Accessories like jewelry and headbands complete the look and add some personality to your photos. Make sure you bring back up options in case weather conditions don’t go along with your plans!
What you wear for your maternity photography session plays an important role in creating stunning photos. Focus on choosing garments that flatter your body shape and make you feel beautiful. It can also be helpful to select multiple outfits for the shoot. For example, a blouse or two, a dress, and don’t forget accessories like jewelry and scarves. These items add texture and depth to the images!
Locations & Time of day
With so many wonderful beach locations to choose from for your Maternity photography session on the Oregon Coast I can help with local knowledge. From ocean viewpoints, forest trails to playing in the sand, or mix of each, there are so many opportunities for gorgeous photographs.
Any time of day can look amazing. If you are looking for a golden sunset tone I would recommend my sunset session. Those sessions are scheduled for the 1 hour leading up to sunset and can provide a beautiful glowing light for soon-to-be moms.
Whats Included
My maternity photography sessions last about 1 hour and include 70-150 digital edited photographs. Your collection of memories will be uploaded to your gallery to download, print and share.

Most expectant mothers schedule their maternity session between 28 and 34 weeks. During this stage, the baby bump is beautifully visible, while many moms-to-be still feel comfortable enough to enjoy walking on the beach and exploring scenic locations. Booking early also helps secure your preferred date and location.

Every location offers something a little different. Cannon Beach is loved for Haystack Rock, while Arcadia Beach offers beautiful sea stacks and a quieter shoreline. We also photograph at Short Sand Beach, Manzanita, Hug Point, Arch Cape, Seaside, Rockaway Beach, Oceanside, and Pacific City, including the scenic coastline near Pelican Brewing.
